Our mission: Safety of Life at Sea                       Ulladulla Division

Welcome to our beautiful harbour home.

The Ulladulla Division of the Royal Volunteer Coastal Patrol has been a fixture in Ulladulla Harbour on the mid-South Coast of NSW for close to 35 years.

It has grown from a modest gathering of a few enthusiastic volunteers to one of the State’s largest Marine Search and Rescue Co-ordination Centres.

While still run entirely by these volunteers, it is now recognised as a vital component of NSW’s emergency services.

This site aims to show our community and its many visitors a little of how the division operates.

Hopefully it will encourage others to join the organisation, or at least understand the motivation of those who choose to serve their community by going down to the sea in ships.

It took eight months of hard work, disappointments and many setbacks—but it all paid off for members of the RVCP’s Ulladulla Division when the Arun-class lifeboat P&O Nedlloyd Encounter was dedicated and commissioned. Click here for a full REPORT
