WELCOME to our beautiful harbour home.
The Ulladulla Division of the Royal Volunteer Coastal Patrol has been a fixture in Ulladulla Harbour on the mid-South Coast of NSW for close to 35 years.
It has grown from a modest gathering of a few enthusiastic volunteers to one of the State’s largest Marine Search and Rescue Co-ordination Centres.
While still run entirely by these volunteers, it is now recognised as a vital component of NSW’s emergency services.
The RVCP will soon merge with the Australian Volunteer Coast Guard and Volunteer Marine Rescue Association to form Marine Rescue NSW - an intergrated body aimed at providing an even better service for all associated with the sea.
Apart from a change of uniform and vessel livery, the change should be seamless. The same group of dedicated volunteers will continue to give their all for those who love the sea and its challenges.
This site aims to show our supportive community and its many visitors a little of how the division operates.
Hopefully it will encourage others to join the new organisation, or at least understand the motivation of those who choose to serve their community by going down to the sea in ships.
